Step into a rewarding contract position as a Multi-Tier Systems of Support (MTSS) Social Worker/Counselor supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling from an accredited institution
• Current Michigan licensure as a social worker (LMSW) or counselor (LPC) strongly preferred; limited licensure (LLMSW/LLPC) considered with a commitment to full licensure
• Experience working in a public school or similar agency setting highly valued
• Familiarity with functioning within collaborative teams and multi-tier systems of support
• Comfortable managing K-12 caseloads in an onsite environment
• Ability to provide official university transcripts, LARA license, and MDE SW approval upon request

Core Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret data to inform and recommend interventions to staff and building administrators
• Design, implement, and monitor tiered social-emotional interventions for students
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support student growth and promote engagement in the educational process
• Attend and contribute to MTSS meetings, student support team discussions, and parent conferences
• Maintain accurate documentation, including logs of student encounters and formal reports for the MTSS Supervisor
• Deliver individual and/or group counseling services, using research-based behavioral management strategies
• Coordinate and monitor services for families to ensure wraparound student support
