Registered Nurse (RN)

United Energy Workers Healthcare is a compassionate company dedicated to exceptional care for energy workers. We are seeking Registered Nurses to work as 1099 Independent Contractors, providing in‑home nursing care to patients in their homes. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to make a tangible difference in patients’ lives through holistic, compassionate care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and provide personalized, comprehensive care. Guide and educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Assist with Activities of Daily Living, always with dignity and respect. Coordinate schedules directly with patients, aligning with their care plans and preferences. Monitor and promptly report changes in patient symptoms or behavior. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the treating physician. Communicate seamlessly with case managers, physicians, and specialists for a unified approach to care. Maintain accurate patient documentation in our EMR system. Offer emotional support and become a trusted presence for patients and families. Your Voice Matters (Communication) Prepare and provide clear, compassionate clinical notes and charting that convey the patient's story. Qualifications Valid and active RN license in the state of practice. Willingness to travel to patients' homes. Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Current BLS certification. Ability to pass state and federal background checks. Required malpractice insurance. Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and empathetic communication skills.
