We are currently seeking a Traveling Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality physical therapy services to pediatric clients across multiple sites. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and committed to helping children achieve their developmental milestones.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans
- Provide direct care to children ages birth to 5, in school, home, and clinical settings
- Travel between assigned service areas
- Monitor and document patient progress and communicate with the supervising PT
- Collaborate with other therapy providers, families, and caregivers
- Ensure compliance with documentation, billing, and HIPAA requirements
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current PTA license in New York State
- Pediatric experience required (early intervention, school-based, or outpatient)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
