Housekeeper Utility

We are hiring immediately for a part time HOUSEKEEPER UTILITY position at Ascension Mercy Hospital - 500 South Oakwood Road, Oshkosh, WI 54904. Online applications accepted only. Part time schedule. 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, days may vary. More details upon interview. Previous cleaning experience is preferred. Willing to train! Fixed pay rate: $17.25 per hour.

Job Summary: Maintains facility areas and keeps equipment clean and orderly. Essential duties and responsibilities include maintaining and servicing cleaning equipment, stocking cleaning carts with supplies, maintaining cleanliness and organization in storeroom and closets, collecting, transporting, and disposing of trash, bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols, fixing and maintaining cleaning equipment, identifying potential safety hazards and acting accordingly, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time, ability to push containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds, ability to follow written and oral instructions in English, mechanical abilities to fix and maintain cleaning equipment, and great communication skills.
