The Inventory Control Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to, functions pertaining to the assessment and coordination of personnel, equipment and inventory to meet daily productivity goals and timelines. Additional responsibilities include the monitoring and movement of physical inventory in order to maintain inventory accuracy, and the coordination of an accurate inventory, including but not limited to physical inventory, and High Jump. The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the directing of all associates in the site's Inventory Department and ensures that the inventory area meets the requirements of the customer and the site. The inventory supervisor will also act as the site's quality assurance, safety, and training representative.

Functions include overseeing the accuracy of all inventory of both inbound and outbound product via audits and cycle counts, reporting any conditions deemed to be unsafe to the Operations Manager or General Manager, ensuring associates safety training, if applicable, opening and/or securing the building as required, conducting the building security audit as required, directing inventory staff in completion of work to meet customer expectations, reviewing and maintaining hours in timekeeping system as required, ensuring issues are communicated as required, overseeing returns and damage area daily to ensure completion of all product put away, maintaining carton inventory if applicable, leading efforts for root cause analysis within the operation with regards to inventory discrepancies, including research and resolution, ensuring that all associates are trained and following all CPs, K-WINs, and Standard Work as outlined in the Kenco Quality Management System (KQMS) in addition to EIP, LM, LEAN and Six Sigma, consolidating quality hold product, if applicable, coordinating zoning of physical inventory, investigating cause of mixed stows, coordinating stow consolidations to create space in the warehouse as needed, organizing and overseeing physical inventories as directed by our customer, proactively communicating to appropriate management issues/concerns, preparing and processing daily reports, managing and issuing mid-year and annual reviews, and other tasks and duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university and/or a minimum of 5 years prior experience in Inventory planning; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, previous supervision, team lead or management experience of hourly warehouse/operations employees, and high volume receiving and distribution production for a large broad line warehouse network.

Competencies include business acumen, communicate for impact, leading people, managing transitions/change management, relationship management, and strategic agility.

Travel requirements are expected to be approximately 25% or less. A passport is not required, but recommended.
