Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy plans for clients. \n
- Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy for individuals, groups, couples, and families. \n
- Maintain accurate and current clinical records consistent with legal and ethical standards while documenting all therapeutic interventions. \n
- Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other professionals to provide holistic care and devise innovative treatment strategies. \n
- Participate proactively in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and best practices. \n
This role primarily centers on working with diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, and families grappling with various mental health challenges. Our client base often comprises individuals with limited access to conventional therapeutic services, indicating a need for empathy, cultural sensitivity, and adaptability in therapy practices.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. \n
- Active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut is essential. \n
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a counseling role, particularly within a clinical setting, is required. \n
- A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice. \n

- Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma counseling, or substance misuse treatment. \n
- Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies that facilitate client management and documentation. \n
- Proven ability to foster rapport with a diverse client population, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills. \n
- A collaborative spirit with experience working in multidisciplinary teams to achieve comprehensive care. \n

- Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. \n
