Description What You'll Do

• Conduct an array of routine and specialized clinical testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyadhering to standardized procedures to deliver accurate results.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, diagnose problems, and maintain lab equipment to uphold high-quality standards.
• Help in specimen gathering and prepare samples for analysis as per operational needs.
• Keep detailed documentation of lab procedures, guide new personnel or students, and help maintain rigorous quality assurance in the lab.
• Ensure a safe and sanitized workspace while adhering to all regulatory and safety standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification prep is preferred.

Certifications

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment is required.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is necessary throughout the duration of your employment.
