Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist, RT PEDS — Rhinebeck, NY. The Registered Respiratory Therapist will work independently on the night shift, providing respiratory care across all age groups, from newborns to older adults. The role supports patients in the emergency and intensive care settings, including high-risk deliveries, trauma cases, and complex respiratory needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) license; minimum 3 years of experience; newborn experience; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Additional Information: Respiratory care includes ventilators, bilevel positive airway pressure (BiPAP), high-flow oxygen, and other oxygen delivery systems. The role supports Labor and Delivery (L&D), emergency, and intensive care patients, with on-call clinical backup available. No neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is located on site.
