Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization in Loxahatchee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help manage entry points, verify visitors and credentials, monitor assigned areas, and provide welcoming customer service to residents and guests. Your visible presence and clear communication will help support a secure environment while addressing access-related needs. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Day Time Mon 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tue 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and contractor records, and communicate entry requirements professionally.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entry areas, common areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns and help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
