Title Clerk Byrider of Grand Rapids, MI Full Time Position This role provides welcoming customer service both in person and by phone while handling administrative duties such as maintaining vehicle records, validating insurance, and controlling office expenses. Operational tasks include accepting payments, updating customer records, managing phone and mail communications, and assisting with application verifications and cash control procedures. Job responsibilities to include: Provide friendly, welcoming customer service in person and over the phone Communicate appreciation for each customer's business Maintain vehicle records, including automotive titles, under Office Manager's direction Continuously validate and maintain proof of insurance on all accounts Assist in controlling office-related expenses Accept and post customer payments received by mail or in person Refer payment disputes to the Finance Manager or Collector Oversee cash control procedures including deposits and cash drawer management Answer incoming calls and route account inquiries to appropriate staff Assist with application verifications as requested by the Branch Finance Manager Update and maintain accurate customer information in system records Perform general office tasks including phone handling, filing, mail distribution, and data entry Qualifications: Strong teamwork is a must Resilience and resourcefulness Strong customer service focus High energy with self-motivation Ability and eagerness to solve problems Maintain a calm, solutions-oriented approach under pressure Experience: Previous bookkeeping experience helpful Excellent organizational skills Clear written and oral communication skills Computer literate Details: $17.00 per hour Monday – Friday daytime work hours On the job training Excellent benefits & paid time off Friendly and supportive work environment Immediate hire NOTE: All benefits are subject to waiting periods and other definitions defined in Employee Handbook at time of hire Marsh Automotive Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
