Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for an exciting travel opportunity in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting. This role focuses on providing specialized nursing care involving complex cardiac procedures and interventions. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Electrophysiology Lab

• Perform baseline measurements and assist with cardiac ablation procedures
• Conduct cardiac mapping and cardioversion techniques
• Manage conduction studies and the insertion/programming of AICDs
• Insert pacemakers and perform scrub procedures
• Administer emergency medications, IV vasopressors, and thrombolytics
• Provide care and maintenance for implanted ports and vascular closure systems
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, sheath removal, and monitoring
• Apply topical hemostasis and manage vascular closure systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements of the RN - Electrophysiology Lab

• Minimum of 2 years of EP Lab experience
• Active NY RN license (no locals within 75 miles)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Competency in phlebotomy and IV placement
• EPIC charting system experience required
