However, based upon the Hospital's patient care requirements as determined at the discretion of the flex nurse's manager or designee, a flex nurse may be required to flex their hours either up 12 hours or down 12 hours within a week. Call is required for this position.Flex time nurses in a 24 hour position will receive health and dental benefits consistent with how regularly scheduled 30 hour nurses receive those benefits. Flex nurses will be paid each week based on how many hours worked and/or benefit time usage - although they are eligible to receive health and dental insurance benefits consistent with a 30-hour RN.The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse directs and coordinates all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards and collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.Performs duties in the following areas: Medical/Surgical Units, Emergency Department, Critical Care, Telemetry, Psychiatric Unit, Inpatient Surgical Center, and Childbirth Center.
