The Special Projects Group has experienced significant growth and is becoming an increasingly important business unit. Due to continued demand and expanding client relationships, the company is seeking a strong Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to help lead the team, manage client relationships, and provide mentorship to fellow project managers. With offices in both Milwaukee and Madison, this is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected contractor with a proven commitment to employee development and internal promotion.Job DescriptionThe Project Manager - Commercial Construction will:Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout.Develop and manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.Monitor schedules and proactively manage project milestones.Support and mentor Project Managers within the Special Projects Group.Assist with preconstruction efforts, budgeting, and change order management.Partner with business development teams to support client retention and growth.Visit jobsites regularly to monitor progress, quality, and client satisfaction.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
