Operations CoordinatorSalary Range $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Salary Position Type Full TimeJob DescriptionJob Summary:The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the execution of maintenance, corrective action, restoration, and operational service projects across an assigned portfolio of renewable energy assets. This role drives contractors, vendors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established schedules, scopes, and service expectations. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for contractor onboarding, project tracking, documentation management, invoice processing, and service execution workflows while proactively identifying, communicating, and escalating project risks, delays, and operational issues. Successful candidates possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, a project management mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting asset reliability, availability, and operational performance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manage assigned service requests and operational projects from initiation through closeout.Drive contractors, vendors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and within established timelines.Coordinate site access, scheduling, logistics, procurement activities, and project deliverables necessary to support successful project execution.Monitor project progress and proactively communicate status updates, risks, delays, and required actions to stakeholders.Track project milestones, deliverables, action items in CMMS, and closeout activities to ensure timely completion.Support emergency response and restoration efforts for critical asset outages and operational events.Responsible for contractor onboarding, qualification, and documentation requirements.Coordinate contractor schedules, site visits, project deliverables, and service execution activities.Review contractor updates to ensure work progresses according to expectations and contractual commitments.Escalate contractor performance concerns, missed deadlines, resource constraints, or execution risks to manager.Maintain contractor records, insurance certificates, safety documentation, and compliance requirements in the CMMS, CRM, and PMO.Maintain accurate project records, service request documentation, contractor updates, and closeout files.Support scope development, work order administration, procurement tracking, and service request management.Review and process contractor invoices, supporting documentation, and project closeout requirements.Ensure all project activities, communications, and records are properly documented within CRM and CMMS.Support reporting activities related to service execution, contractor performance, and project status.Support the execution of maintenance, corrective action, restoration, warranty, and operational improvement initiatives.Monitor assigned service requests to ensure operational issues are addressed in a timely manner.Support tracking equipment failures, recurring issues, contractor response times, and restoration activities.Support efforts to improve asset reliability, availability, and overall operational performance.Identify and escalate operational risks, recurring failures, and service execution bottlenecks.Support the O&M Team including Field Service Operations and Quality Control & Acceptance in executing operational initiatives and project objectives.Translate leadership direction into actionable tasks, deadlines, deliverables, and follow-up activities.Monitor assigned action items and ensure commitments are completed as expected.Escalate blockers, missed deadlines, accountability concerns, and project risks in a timely manner.Contribute to the continuous improvement of contractor management processes, service execution workflows, and operational procedures.Demonstrate ownership, accountability, professionalism, and effective communication when interacting with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesBachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, Operations Management, or a related field1-3 years of experience in project management, asset management, engineering, performance analytics, operations, or related project-based environments.Strong understanding of project performance metrics, contractor performance metrics, service execution KPIs, schedule adherence, and project tracking methodologies.Experience with database systems, CRM, and CMMS.Ability to learn inverter monitoring platforms, remote diagnostic tools, service ticket systems, and renewable energy operations technologies.Proficiency in database, project management, Microsoft Excel and teams, ownership mentalityExperience working within Netsuite and/or Salesforce, service ticket platforms, or CMMS systems preferred.PMI CAPM/PMP certification is strongly desired.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex performance data and provide actionable recommendations.Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Must possess current valid license to drive or otherwise provide transportation if site visits are required.Must successfully pass background check and pre-employment drug testing.Must be authorized to work in the United States on a
