The primary responsibilities of the Line Technician are to safely aid in the construction and maintenance of electrical lines, both underground and overhead. Assists other crew members with related work including trouble-shooting system problems, installing and maintaining outdoor lighting, and all other aspects of the cooperative's electrical system and fiber-optic lines as required. Ensures the highest level of service to our consumers by working as part of a team. Requires the ability to work beyond regular work hours, during storms or emergency situations and respond timely to call-in requests.

Based on skills and experience, the candidate will be placed into the line of progression anywhere from Apprentice to 1st Class (Journeyman).
