Medical Technologist Position

This position is for a medical technologist at Broward Health Medical Center located at 1600 S. Andrews Avenue Ft. Lauderdale FL 33316.

Work details include:

Full-time position with FTE: 1.0 – 40hrs. per week and schedule: Evenings.

Job summary:

Under general supervision performs complex routine and/or non-routine testing procedures and regularly checks validity and accuracy of test results. Establishes work priorities and organizes work obtaining quality patient care outcomes.

Job qualifications:

A. Education (or equivalent years of experience): Required for consideration: Associate degree or specialized training.

B. Experience (or equivalent education): No experience required.

C. Licensure: Required for consideration: Florida Medical Technologist or eligible status in areas of assignment.

Paid Time Off:

· 23 days per year to start, accrues biweekly, increases after five years of service, available after a 90-day introductory period.

Paid Sick Leave:

· 5 days in your first six months, up to 15 days annually from six months through four years.
