Direct Support Professional

Role Overview The Direct Support Professional (DSP) works with people and their teams to support each person in making day-to-day choices that lead to a greater independent life and to participate in and contribute to community life. A successful DSP seeks to understand all aspects such as but not limited to the likes, dislikes, hopes, and dreams of persons receiving services to support them as part of a team as they make choices and progress towards their goals. Team Structure RHCL is staffed by Professional Managers, Community Registered Nurses, Office Personnel, Residential Coordinators, and Direct Support Professionals. Each staff member plays an important role in providing support to the individuals we serve.
