PCU RNs - Take Charge of Your Schedule!

Available Shifts: 7a-7p & 7p-7a

PCU RN Qualifications

Valid Virginia RN License
At least 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the last 4 years
Current AHA BLS Certification
Current AHA ACLS Certification
Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past year
COVID-19 vaccination or an accepted medical/religious exemption
Additional certifications may be necessary depending on the facility

Your Responsibilities

As a PCU RN with our organization, you will deliver exceptional patient care in acute-care hospital settings. Your duties may include:

Evaluating, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
Tracking cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
Administering medications, IV treatments, and prescribed therapies
Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
Adhering to facility infection-control and patient-safety protocols
Educating patients and families about care and discharge plans
Adapting professionally to various hospital units and environments
