Job Summary and Qualifications

The Neurodiagnostic Specialist is an advanced level position in the epilepsy monitoring unit and/or intensive care unit able to perform all neurodiagnostic procedures (EEG, LTM-ICU and EMU, EP) and may also perform additional responsibilities including, but not limited to WADA, PET, and Ictal SPECT. The technologist must be able to provide findings, results, and a descriptive analysis according to facility policy and procedures. Technologist may perform tasks with supervision until competencies are met and then demonstrate competencies yearly. Tech is required to rotate on-call with the neurodiagnostic team.

What qualifications you will need:

• 2+ years of experience required
• Well-developed computer skills with experience in windows and office suite.
• Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology (NDT) Program, or an Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is desired.
• Credential in electroencephalography (R. EEG T.) required.
• Credential in long-term monitoring (CLTM) or must be board eligible.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
