Senior Buyer Planner

Seeking an experienced Senior Buyer Planner to enhance our current procurement materials group. We are looking for a well-rounded individual who knows how to make a difference in the world of materials procurement.

Buyer Job Requirements: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities for Career Success

• A college degree in business administration or supply chain management
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a buyer is essential. 5-10 years+ total procurement/manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must have significant ERP, Materials Management and Buying experience in multiple industries, from raw materials parts to and including subcontract and turnkey products.
• Should have experience with Supply contracts, Just in time, min/max and forecasting.
• Must take ownership of position and understand that manufacturing operations and sales fulfillment is dependent on his/her ability to meet material delivery deadlines.
• Computer skills are necessary for reporting, managing inventory, and analyzing data
• Must be able to perform work function effectively in a team environment and to work independently and organize tasks and priorities
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal and skills. You will work with all groups in the organization.
• Must have high level of math skills for inventory management, calculations and measurements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Good problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, analytical skills and a desire to learn new techniques and industry trends
• Needs excellent organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once while keeping an eye on details in all tasks.

 

Buyer Salary

The annual salary range is $100,000-$130,000 depending on skills and experience
