Job Description\n TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in High Point, North Carolina.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Simplifi Clinical Interviews\n Unit: Surgical Intensive Care Unit\n Experience Required: 1 year with Medical Surgical with telemetry experience or progressive care experience; will consider first time traveler\n Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Resource Team requirement\n Skills Required: Cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac strip and rhythm interpretation, arterial lines, titration of drips, non-invasive ventilator care (BiPAP/CPAP, we have Respiratory Therapist 24/7), vascular lines, chest tubes or drains, post procedure site care – trans radial bands, femoral venous or arterial sheaths, post EP permanent pacemaker or ICD, post pulmonary artery thrombectomy (Prenumbra, Inari).\n Floating: Float within the critical care division or Intermediate Care.\n Patient Types:\n -General medical patients requiring continuous monitoring of cardiac, respiratory, hemodynamic and neurologic status having a NSTEMI or status post STEMI, cardiac interventional procedure, electrophysiology procedure, heart failure, post stroke\n -General, Vascular, or immediate thoracic surgical patients requiring continuous cardiac, respiratory or hemodynamic support include pharmacological titration of cardiac anti-arrhythmic drips (amiodarone, cardizem, cardene, dobutamine, tridil, etc)\n -Respiratory failure requiring medium or high flow oxygen devices or NIPPV\n Patient Ratios:\n RN: 1:3 or 1:4 depending on interventions.\n CNA: Yes, ratio varies\n Support within the Department:\n CNA? Yes\n Hospitalist 24/7? Yes\n Telemetry monitoring? The RN is responsible for continuous cardiac monitoring including interpretation of the rhythm.
