Float Pool Registered Nurse - $32-48 per hour

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool - Night Shift Location: East Alton, Illinois (Alton Memorial Hospital) Job Summary BJC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Float for a full‑time night shift float pool position within a multi‑unit inpatient environment. Promote patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment. Educate patients and families on illness management, postoperative care, and medication administration. Participate in patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities. Develop, implement, and document individual care plans with goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patient, family, or caregiver. Proactively plan and communicate care plans across the continuum of care. Use critical nursing skills for comprehensive assessment of physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs; assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care. Maintain readiness to work in a constant state of alertness and ensure safe practices.
