Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and manage infusion pumps in an outpatient setting.
• Coordinate and provide education to patients and families regarding oncology care plans.
• Monitor patients for side effects and response to treatment, and communicate findings to the care team.
• Perform phlebotomy and maintain veins and ports for therapy sessions.
• Implement infection prevention measures, including neutropenic precautions.
• Chart patient care utilizing the Epic system, ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Current RN license, with 2-3 years of outpatient oncology experience required.
• BLS AHA certification mandatory; ONS certification preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience is essential.
• Proficient in accessing and managing ports, and central line care.
• Experience with chemotherapy administration and patient monitoring.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
