Summary:
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the design and development of mechanical systems for gas turbine power generation and industrial process equipment . This role is responsible for product design, engineering analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring designs are manufacturable, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.

Summary:
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the design and development of mechanical systems for gas turbine power generation and industrial process equipment . This role is responsible for product design, engineering analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring designs are manufacturable, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for power generation equipment.
- Create 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM .
- Perform engineering analysis including thermal, structural, fluid flow, acoustic, and vibration analysis.
- Review manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GD&T, material selection, manufacturability, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, project management, suppliers, and customers.
- Support fabrication, installation, testing, and project execution.
- Drive continuous improvement in design processes and mentor engineering teams.
- Travel up to 30% to customer and supplier sites.
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 6-10 years of mechanical engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks PDM .
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication/manufacturing .
- Expertise in thermal, structural, acoustical, and power generation systems .
- Strong understanding of GD&T , manufacturing processes, and BOM creation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- EIT/PE certification is preferred.
