This position requires a detail-oriented professional who is adept at managing various surgical specialties and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Job Details\n \n Unit Type: Operating Room (OR) \n Shift Length: 10 hours \n Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week \n Responsibilities\n \n Act as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures, primarily focusing on orthopedic surgeries, including total joints and arthroscopy. \n Assist in the management of cases involving spine, foot and ankle, hand surgeries, and related orthopedic procedures. \n Collaborate with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care and ensure operational efficiency in the OR. \n Utilize surgical technology, specifically the MAKO robot, to assist in robotic surgeries as required. \n Maintain a sterile environment and follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently. \n Qualifications\n \n Current South Dakota or compact state Registered Nurse license. \n Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as an OR circulator. \n Strong orthopedic experience, particularly in total joints and arthroscopy. \n Proficient use of robotics, with a preference for MAKO experience. \n Required certifications: ACLS and BLS, both must be from the American Heart Association (AHA). \n Additional Information\n \n No on-call duties or weekend shifts required. \n All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility. \n Scrubs will be provided in Ceil Blue color. \n \n If you are a dedicated Registered Nurse with the required skills and experience, we encourage you to apply to join our team in delivering exceptional patient care in the operating room setting. \n \n Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID 38015552.
