Do you enjoy working with seniors and making a positive impact in their lives? Resorts at Chester River Manor is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activities Aide to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting with engaging recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

• Assist in planning and implementing daily activity programs for residents.

• Lead and participate in group activities, games, crafts, music programs, exercise classes, and special events.

• Encourage resident participation and engagement.

• Escort residents to and from activities as needed.

• Assist with community outings, holiday celebrations, and family events.

• Document resident attendance and participation.

• Help decorate for holidays and special occasions.

• Maintain activity supplies and equipment.

• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.

• Ensure resident safety during all activities.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, healthcare, recreation, childcare, customer service, or activities preferred.

• Passion for working with seniors.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed.

• Ability to lift, push wheelchairs, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
