Custodian PositionThe DaMar Team is seeking to identify a custodian for a local non profit organization. Client Profile - A nonprofit community service center. Job Summary - The custodian reports to the office manager and the building custodian; responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building and the surrounding grounds including vacuuming floors, sanitizing restroom facilities and collecting trash.Job DutiesEnsure that the building and facilities are clean and presentable for use by the public and staff.Clean and sanitize the Childcare facility to meet state regulations and guidelines.Perform minor grounds work around the campus.Arrange furniture and equipment for meetings and special eventsPerform cleaning tasks in restrooms, offices and outside areas such as sweeping, scrubbing, dusting, disinfecting, shampooing empty waste containers.Maintain clean linens and washable items throughout the organizationKeep a detailed inventory of all products and items.Reporting damages and failed equipment to Office ManagerPerform other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid Driver's License preferred but not requiredFavorable criminal history background checkAbility to pass a physical abilities test and TB screenAbility to lift excess of 50 poundsExperience in performing custodial dutiesHours: M-F 11am to 8pPay: up to $17.00 hourly, competitive insurance and benefits and incentives
