Job Description:

Title: Registered Nurse Acute Care

Schedule: MondayFriday with 1 weekend per month

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: Varied
• Guaranteed Hours: Per week not provided

Requirements:

• State RN license in hand or Compact license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Core clinical skills including acute care, patient assessment, discharge planning, rehab/short-term and long-term goals, geriatrics, neurology, and orthopedics

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in an acute care setting
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge planning

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation consists of 8 hours (non-billable) dependent on contract length
• One request for time off (RTO) allowed, must be finalized at time of submission
• Major holidays will require work commitment as outlined in the job details
