Kemin Industries is seeking a Research Technician to support laboratory testing, product development, and quality initiatives. This role performs routine laboratory and stability testing, prototype evaluations, validation support, and technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong bench chemistry skills, experience operating analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance. Responsibilities Supports and assist scientific team with various R&D projects. Routine laboratory testing and prototype evaluation Stability study pulls and testing Validation run monitoring and documentation Report and white paper generation Packaging and qualification support activities General laboratory operations, inventory, and equipment support Routine quality and documentation activities, including change management support and specification updates Qualifications Education Associate's Degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience Must be highly motivated, reliable, and self-sufficient. Attention to detail and awareness of safety. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work in a fast paced environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
