Assistant Automotive Service ManagerWe are looking to add a qualified Assistant Automotive Service Manager to our team.ResponsibilitiesWork with Service Director to forecast goals and objectives for the department and ensure they are metEnsure that common courtesy is shown to all customers by every service department employee to promote customer satisfactionMaintain daily sales and production records as required by dealership managementDevelop and monitor budgets for the service department and keep dealership management informed of variancesEnsure that the service department meets all customer satisfaction (CSI) and financial goalsEstablish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral businessHandle customer complaints tactfully, promptly, and with concern for the customerEstablish promotional service pricesEnsure proper repair techniques are being usedSchedule training as necessary for technicians and service advisorsStay up to date on product changes and new productsEnsure that all necessary shop equipment is in proper and safe working conditionUnderstand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect service department operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etcOther duties may be assigned by managementDemonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendorsQualificationsTwo or more year's management experience in an automotive service departmentADP Dealer Services Experience a plusAbility to work independently and be self-motivatedA desire to work in a commission, performance-based, environmentGreat attitude with high-energy personalityExcellent customer service skillsProfessional appearance and work ethicAbility to work well in a process driven environmentHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving recordWe offer:Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance401(k) plan with company matchPaid Time-OffEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEmployee Vehicle Purchase ProgramProfessional work environment, with job training and advancement opportunitiesEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
