Job Description As a Security Officer Lobby Ambassador in Detroit, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional, you will be the welcoming presence at an assigned location, supporting access control, visitor management, and professional communication. You will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry activity, responding to security-related concerns, and delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat08:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Monitor access to the location, greet visitors, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records. Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, and communicate relevant information to site contacts. Observe front desk activity and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
