Senior Scrum Master - IT Development

Drive Agile delivery excellence and enable high-performing teams aligned to business priorities Perform administrative, coaching, and leadership duties that enable Scrum development and delivery Work with business partners to identify and implement complex technical systems and products Manage medium to large systems and products Buffer the team from process overhead and interruptions Shield the team from interruptions and remove delivery obstacles Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups and sprint planning Instill Agile principles into daily team activities Facilitate internal and external communications, including task coordination, progress tracking, reporting, and dependency management Keep teams, stakeholders, collaborators, and interested parties informed about initiatives, progress, and activities Track and remove obstacles and barriers that may prevent delivery progress Support release management and coordination across distributed teams Requirements BS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study with an IT focus, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing Agile methodologies Scrum Master certification such as CSM or PSM strongly preferred Proven experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile delivery teams in complex, cross-functional environments Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban Knowledge of Agile delivery best practices Ability to facilitate teams, manage stakeholders, and drive accountability for outcomes Experience with Agile tools including Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Experience supporting release management and coordination across distributed onshore/offshore teams Strong dependency management experience CSM and CSPO experience and medium-sized Agile implementations involving 5-7 or more teams strongly preferred Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from a posting location unless an accommodation is granted Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, with a strong focus on facilitating team dynamics and stakeholder management.
