Job Description
We are seeking skilled welders to join our team for both 1st and 2nd shifts. The work involves welding large plate jobs in a dynamic job shop environment. Candidates will focus on executing precise welds, ensuring quality and consistency without the need for blueprint reading. Knowledge of weld symbols is required.
Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks for large plate jobs across various customer requirements.
• Execute Flux Core Welds using 3/32\" wire with precision.
• Complete a T-Bar Test and a 2G (horizontal) position test, ensuring quality welds.
• Conduct Bevel Tests post-contract initiation, adhering to x-ray specifications.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Flux Core Welds (3/32\").
• Experience welding large plate jobs, including at least 1/4 inch plates.
• Strong proficiency in using 3/32 wire for welding.
• Capability in Sub Arc 5/32-3/16, Flux Core 3/32, Metal Core .045-1/16, Mig .045 and Stick 1/8-5/16.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Candidates with experience from large fabrication or job shops are preferred.
• Ability to perform the T-Bar Test and 2G position test efficiently.

Work Environment
Our work environment is clean and spacious, promoting a productive and efficient workflow. The facility operates on a structured schedule, with 1st shift from 5am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday, and 5 hours on Saturday. The 2nd shift runs from 3:30pm to 1:30am Monday to Friday, with 5 hours on Saturday.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Creek, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $34.00/hr.
