If you enjoy working behind the scenes in a fast-paced medical environment and understand that every sterile instrument plays a vital role in exceptional patient care, we'd love to meet you.What You'll DoAs our Instrument Sterilization Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, organized, and ready for patient procedures. Your work directly supports our surgical team and helps provide outstanding care to every patient who walks through our doors.ResponsibilitiesClean, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments according to established protocols.Operate and monitor autoclaves and other sterilization equipment.Perform biological, chemical, and mechanical monitoring to ensure sterilization standards are met.Maintain accurate sterilization logs and documentation.Prepare surgical trays for Mohs procedures and dermatologic surgeries.Monitor instrument inventory and communicate supply needs.Inspect instruments for wear or damage and coordinate repairs or replacements.Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant sterilization area.Follow OSHA, CDC, infection prevention, and safety guidelines.Assist with room turnover and support the clinical team as needed.About Our PracticeWe are a growing dermatology and Mohs surgery practice committed to providing exceptional patient care with compassion, efficiency, and excellence.
