Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Command Center Specialist in White Plains, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, document security-related activity using computer or tablet systems, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers, employees, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $29.46 - $30.46 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location. Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned transit facilities, platforms, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for restricted areas in accordance with site-specific policies. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: Have at least two years of security-related experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
