Registered Nurse in Emergency RoomThis position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. The shift is night, working four 12-hour shifts per week. Travel experience is required, with previous charge experience preferred. The candidate must possess a valid RN license and required certifications. The position involves working with a diverse patient population including neonates, adolescents, and geriatrics. Expect a daily census of approximately 135 visits. The unit will require the ability to handle high-acuity cases in a fast-paced environment. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care and managing treatments. Skills needed include the management of respiratory distress, trauma, and various emergency conditions. Every other weekend coverage is mandatory as part of the scheduling. Travelers may be required to float to like units based on facility needs. The role demands a commitment to high-quality patient care and effective communication within an interdisciplinary team.
