Essential Education and Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure these within 90 days).
