About the Role As a Ready-Mix Driver, you'll be the face of our company, ensuring safe and timely delivery of ready-mix concrete to a variety of projects and customers. You'll operate modern equipment in both industrial and residential settings, often working independently while knowing our team has your back. Main Responsibilities * Safely operate ready mix trucks to deliver concrete to job sites and company locations * Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections by DOT standards * Load and unload equipment and materials as needed * Maintain accurate mileage logs and delivery records * Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws * Perform minor truck maintenance and keep your vehicle clean and orderly * Support your team and supervisors with additional duties as required * Deliver quality service and represent our company with professionalism and courtesy What We're Looking For Qualifications * High school diploma or GED required * 3+ years' experience driving trucks of similar size and equipment preferred * Valid CDL A or B license required; must maintain an active, clear record * Manual Transmission experience required, No manual restriction (E) Work Requirements * Must be 18+ years old * Pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check * Hold a valid DOT medical card * Commitment to safe work practices and PPE usage (company provided) * Willing to work up to 6 days a week with overtime as needed * Flexible to work nights, weekends, and travel for assignments * Team player with a positive attitude, strong communication, and customer service skills * Ability to train and mentor others if experienced * Meet company, state, and federal driving standards Knowledge & Skills * Expertise in operating mixer trucks and related equipment * Strong math, recordkeeping, and basic reading skills * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions * Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team * Experience in securing and transporting heavy or oversized loads * Professional, courteous, and effective communication with customers and coworkers Physical & Work Environment Requirements * Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility. * Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height. * Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed. * Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions. * Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments. * Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely. * Reasonable accommodations provided as necessary to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
