Health Care Litigation Associate/Senior Counsel

Job Details: Job Location: Any CA Office - n/a, CA 90000, Education Level: JD, Salary Range: $200,000.00 - $275,000.00 Salary/year

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent hospitals and health systems, and other health care providers in litigation matters involving shareholder and other corporate disputes, reimbursement lawsuits against major health plans, and multiparty, bet-the-company litigation and a variety of other issues affecting our health care clients.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
• Negotiate settlements and resolving disputes with opposing counsel.
• Review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to health care litigation.
• Participate in arbitrations, mediations, settlement negotiations and trials.
• Conduct legal research and staying up-to-date on health care laws and regulations.
• Participant with claim analysis and depositions.

Pay Scale: The reasonably expected pay scale for this position is $200-$275k, with bonus potential of up to $112,500. This is an employer estimate and the salary offered within that range, and the potential for bonus and bonus amount, will depend on candidate’s years of practice and experience and performance.
