Job Description We’re seeking a dedicated Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a travel assignment in New Britain, Connecticut. As a crucial member of the medical-surgical team, you’ll provide prehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care. Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver prehensive patient care. Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient information accurately in electronic medical records. Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous fluids as prescribed by the medical team. Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care. Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers within the hospital. Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards. Provide emotional support and fort to patients and their families during their hospital stay. Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Connecticut. Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in a medical-surgical setting. BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong interpersonal and munication skills. Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure environments. Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and work settings. Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare facilities.
