Job Title: RN PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)

Salary Range: $60 to $70 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)

Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Summary:

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated RN for the PACU Recovery unit in California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients during their recovery from anesthesia in the PACU.
• Provide care for patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the recovery process.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed, while monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and their families about post-operative recovery and care.
• Document all patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in medical records.

Requirements:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid state license.
• ICU experience is required.
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, CHS, NIH Certification.
• 36 hours per week (GWW) commitment, with day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
