The Technical Support Technician plays a dynamic role within our in-house IT department, providing hands-on technical assistance both remotely and in the field. This position requires a proactive and adaptable professional who can manage a high volume of support tickets daily while engaging in a variety of technical and physical tasks, including hardware maintenance, product installation, and even some specialized trade skills. The role demands strong accountability, dependability, and willingness to wear many hats beyond traditional desk-based support.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly
- Provide customer support and user training in technical environments
- Perform product installation, removal, building, and related carpentry tasks
- Maintain technical documentation and manage support tickets efficiently
- Conduct system diagnostics and escalate issues as needed
- Support properties upkeep and low voltage system work
- Operate effectively in both field service and remote support settings
- Demonstrate strong accountability, dependability, and work ethic
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical support
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Information Technology or related field
