Healthcare Team Member
Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a regional Midwest medical practice. This role supports clinical operations by assisting healthcare providers and ensuring patients receive attentive, personalized care throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support under physician supervision, including vital signs collection, patient history, and symptom observation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring thorough documentation for billing and clinical purposes.
- Assist with minor procedures, sample medication management, and patient testing coordination.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medication usage, and follow-up instructions with clarity and empathy.
- Ensure clinical areas are well-stocked, clean, and organized, maintaining sterile instruments and functional equipment.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Alternatively, a minimum of five years of relevant clinical experience in a medical practice setting.
Work Schedule
Full-time, first shift with a standard 40-hour workweek.
