• Case Mix: General inpatient cases including seizures, respiratory conditions, and gastrointestinal cases

• No. of Beds in Department: 8 inpatient beds

• EMR System: Cerner

• Office Equipment Available: Standard inpatient equipment

• Specialty Backup Available: Physician on-call backup

• Support Staff Available: Multidisciplinary care team

• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active TX license required

• Board: NP or PA certification required

• DEA: Required

• Certifications: BLS

• Experience: Inpatient experience required

• Other Qualifications: Must be comfortable in micro-hospital setting

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide inpatient rounding and patient management

• Evaluate and manage acute medical conditions

• Collaborate with supervising physician and care team

• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
