About the Role As a Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for ensuring our fleet of construction machinery and aerial lifts remains operational and efficient. By leveraging advanced diagnostic technology and your mechanical expertise, you will minimize downtime and ensure our equipment meets the rigorous demands of our clients. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex issues within hydraulic, electrical, diesel, and mechanical systems across a diverse range of heavy machinery. Utilize digital diagnostic tools and tablets to manage work orders, track service intervals, and document repairs with precision. Travel to various customer job sites to perform on-site maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability in the field. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians to foster team growth and skill development. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle to ensure readiness for emergency repairs. Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in strict adherence to safety protocols and industry standards. Required Skills Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy construction equipment. Advanced ability to interpret complex technical schematics, diagrams, and service manuals. Strong mechanical aptitude and ownership of personal tools required for the trade. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide professional service to customers. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate company vehicles. Preferred Skills Completion of a trade school certification or relevant technical degree.
