This position provides acquisition and contract policy support to a dynamic Department of Defense (DoD) organization responsible for procurement management and contracting operations.The ideal candidate possesses extensive federal acquisition experience within the GS-1102 series (or equivalent) and a strong understanding of DoD procurement regulations, acquisition policies, and contract management practices. This individual will provide expert guidance, perform contract analysis, support policy implementation, and assist leadership with procurement-related initiatives.ResponsibilitiesProvide acquisition and contract policy support to contracting personnel and leadership.Interpret and apply Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, and DoD procurement policies, regulations, and directives.Conduct fact-finding, research, and analysis to resolve complex procurement issues and develop corrective action plans.Prepare, track, monitor, and analyze contract and procurement data.Develop reports and provide recommendations for monthly, quarterly, and annual program reviews.Provide technical guidance and consultation on procurement management processes and policy changes.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient contract operations.Draft written responses, briefings, and reports for senior government leadership.Support process improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with established procurement procedures.QualificationsBachelor 's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Law, Contracts, Purchasing, Economics, Industrial Management, Marketing, Quantitative Methods, Organizational Management, or a related field.Minimum of five (5) years of direct federal procurement experience in a GS-1102 series (or equivalent) role.Experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition and procurement operations.Minimum of one (1) year of experience conducting analysis and resolving complex procurement issues.Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and DoD acquisition regulations.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting federal contract policy organizations.DAWIA or FAC-C certification.Experience preparing executive reports and procurement metrics.Aalis Management Consulting is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
