Job Title: Pricing Specialist II (Pricing Operations & Rebate Management)

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Specialist II to manage, administer, and execute complex customer pricing programs, rebates, credits, and pricing-related support activities. In this role, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of pricing transactions while minimizing downstream billing discrepancies and customer disputes.

This is a critical commercial operations role requiring strong financial acumen, advanced Excel proficiency, and a customer-centric approach. You will serve as the primary point of contact for pricing inquiries, partnering closely with Sales, Finance, and regional management to implement sales deals, validate rebate accruals, and resolve invoice discrepancies. Key Responsibilities
Pricing Administration & On-Invoice Execution
• System Maintenance: Maintain, update, and administer enterprise pricing records and condition levels within ERP/SAP environments.
• Deal Implementation: Implement approved sales deals, discount structures, and promotional allowances accurately and on schedule.
• Price Change Analysis: Validate regional price change requests, update master data, and analyze the financial impact of pricing adjustments.

Invoice Verification & Credit Processing
• Claim Resolution: Investigate, analyze, and resolve invoice discrepancies, contract interpretations, location variances, and payout differences.
• Credit Execution: Calculate, document, and process customer credits and claims in alignment with contractual agreements and submitted documentation.
• Dispute Minimization: Partner directly with customers and sales teams to resolve pricing disputes efficiently, striving for rapid turnaround times.

Rebate Program Management
• Rebate Calculations: Administer and calculate customer and contractor/builder rebate programs using advanced business intelligence and ERP reporting tools.
• Accrual Validation: Validate system financial accruals against calculated rebate amounts, investigating and clearing variances.
• Profitability Analysis: Analyze the financial impact and performance of customer incentive and rebate programs.

Account Maintenance & Stakeholder Support
• Customer Setup: Process new customer account requests, validate account data completeness, and ensure correct pricing and rebate hierarchies are applied.
• Sales Support: Provide comprehensive customer data, sales analysis, and administrative support to regional territory managers and external clients.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education & Experience:
oBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field with 3 to 4 years of progressive professional experience in pricing, customer service, sales support, or rebate calculation; OR
oEquivalent combination of education and a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in pricing, accounting, or commercial operations.
• Technical Mastery:
oAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, complex data manipulation).
oWorking experience with major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (preferably SAP).
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer service orientation; meticulous attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.

Preferred Attributes
• Direct experience utilizing pricing and optimization tools (e.g., Pricefx) and business intelligence software (Power BI, QlikView).
• Proven experience managing high-volume transactions and complex customer accounts within distribution, manufacturing, or commercial sectors.
