What You’ll Do As a Retail Associate, you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes guests and helps them find everything they need for their Lassen adventure. From souvenirs and outdoor essentials to local information, you’ll provide exceptional customer service that leaves a lasting impression. Responsibilities Welcome every guest with a warm, friendly greeting. Provide outstanding customer service and create memorable shopping experiences. Help guests find merchandise and recommend products based on their needs. Answer questions about the park using approved National Park Service information. Operate the point-of-sale system accurately, including cash and credit card transactions. Restock merchandise and maintain attractive, organized displays. Keep the store clean, stocked, and inviting throughout the day. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Work toward store sales goals while delivering exceptional service. Follow company cash handling, safety, and operational procedures. Foster a positive, supportive team environment. Support the Company’s quality and environmental initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for helping people. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a busy retail environment. Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality. Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with guests and teammates. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent. Experience Previous retail experience preferred. Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred. Basic math skills and cash handling experience.
