Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nurse Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of Med Surg, Post Op, or Stepdown experience required License: State license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Nurses must be comfortable caring for up to 5-7 patients. Surgical and post-operative surgical experience required. At least 1 travel contract completed preferred. Must not have been an employee within the last 12 months. Profile must include driver's license. Work history/resume required. Skills checklist must have been completed within 1 year of submission date. License verification required. Copy of required certifications. One supervisory reference required at time of submission. Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.

Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The role entails providing care to patients based on the medical-surgical and telemetry nursing framework. Candidates should be proficient in utilizing electronic medical records systems. On-call responsibilities may be required. This position requires a commitment to provide high-quality care and support to patients pre- and post-surgery.
