Member Services Representative

Job Title: Member Service Representative Industry: Banking, Credit Union, Financial Services Location (city, state): Washington, DC Assignment Type: Contract Pay: $20-$-22/hour Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (approx. 8:30am-5:30pm) Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). About the Company: A membership-based federal credit union offering personal banking, credit cards, home, auto, personal, and student loans, and more. Job Description: Support members at the DC branch by helping them with their financial needs, processing transactions, opening accounts, and supporting loan applications. Key Responsibilities: Assist members and prospective members with account inquiries, transactions, and service requests through multiple channels Open new accounts, process account maintenance requests, and support loan application activities Resolve member concerns professionally while building strong member relationships Promote and educate members on credit union products and services while following all policies and regulations Qualifications: 6-12 months of customer service, banking, financial services, or retail experience (teller or cash handling a plus) High school diploma required; degree highly preferred Proficient in MS Office and the internet; familiar with mobile apps, online banking, and social media Professional demeanor and presentation, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a quick learner Additional Details: Must live within a commutable distance of DC Must be available to occasionally cover the Reston, VA branch Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
